The Struggle in US
at BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange
 Saturday, March 18th 2017
Workshops at 5:30 & 6:35 Show at 8:00pm

The Struggle in US brings together BAX faculty, staff, and students to create an evening of community with workshops and performance. The evening will be filled with activities and art pieces in response to the ‘ungrounding’ events presently unfolding in our nation. Intersectional, intergenerational, and interconnected voices will rise up – to connect, to inspire, to advocate and to ground. Join us to pour energy back into a place that has so deeply supported US, and so many more! A donation from the event will also be made to the Center for Anti-Violence Education. CAE previously shared space with BAX at 421 5th Ave, and is still a neighbor after moving one block away to 7th st. They offer free martial arts and self-defense classes for women, young people, and LGBTQIA individuals across NYC.
